RV Organizations

International

  • The Fédération Internationale de Camping et de Caravanning.  Web site contains English version.  "The Fédération Internationale de Camping et de Caravanning is the only world-wide organization solely devoted to camping and caravanning and to defending the interests of campers wherever they are. It has 58 member clubs and federations in 35 countries."

Canada

  • Go RVing.  "Go RVing Canada's website has information for Canadian RVers on the RVing lifestyle, extensive resources, tips and advice on recreational vehicles: buying or renting a motorhome, camper van, travel trailer, 5th wheel, truck camper
or folding camping trailer. Find that perfect wilderness campsite or RV campground. Travel across the country and explore Canada in your RV.

Europe

  • The Caravan Club.  "The Caravan Club is a £70 million turnover business, providing a wide range of services and activities. We represent over 850,000 caravanners, motorhome and trailer tent owners. We are now nearly one hundred years old, and must be one of the very few organisations to have retained our original title and aims throughout that time."

United Kingdom

  • Camping and Caravanning Club.  "We are the oldest and friendliest Club for all campers, and offer a warm welcome to members and non-members alike, with caravans, motorcaravans, tents or trailer tents. Choose one of our main Club Sites throughout the UK for a holiday in the great outdoors you'll want to repeat."

United States

National

  • American Recreation Coalition ARC.  "American Recreation Coalition (ARC) — is a Washington-based non-profit organization formed in 1979. Since its inception, ARC has sought to catalyze public/private partnerships to enhance and protect outdoor recreational opportunities and the resources upon which such experiences are based. ARC conducts research on a regular basis, organizes and conducts national conferences and meetings and disseminates information through a variety of newsletters, columns and other media regarding recreational needs and initiatives. ARC also monitors legislative and regulatory proposals that influence recreation and works with government agencies and the U.S. Congress to study public policy issues that will shape future recreational opportunities."
  • Escapees RV Club.  "With over 34,000
member-families, Escapees is dedicated to providing a total support network for RVers. This site will provide you with an abundance of useful information, whether you are a full-timer, a part-timer, or simply dreaming of the day you can begin traveling."
  • Family Campers and RVers.  "Known as the "Friendliest People in the World", FCRV is an organization dedicated to camping fellowships, the preservation of our international heritage, and the strengthening of family bonds through shared activities in the out-of-doors! We are a member owned organization with activities and programs for youth, teens, adults and retirees.

FCRV also has programs in many areas, including: conservation, wildlife, self-propelled camping (SPC), and disaster awareness training (DAT). There are annual FCRV International Campventions, regional campouts, and state/and provincial campouts and many other FCRV campouts. FCRVers also enjoy discounts and other benefits."
  • Good Sam Club.  "The Good Sam Club got its start 38 years ago when a handful of RV owners put Good Samaritan bumper stickers on their rigs so fellow members would know they could get help on the road. From this small Club we grew. In the early days, Good Sam Members spread the word at RV parks and other Club events. Soon everyone wanted to know how to get a Good Sam 'smiling face' decal.

Today, our primary goal remains the same as from those days: to make RVing safer and more enjoyable, and to save our members money through Club-endorsed benefits and services. We are now 1 million RVing families strong and still growing! We still have fun, we stop to help one another and we still meet our responsibilities to the environment, the highways and the park system."
  • RV Clubhouse. "RV'ers Information Center.  'One Click, You're There!'"
  • Recreational Vehicle Industry Association RVIA. RVIA's mission is to promote and protect the RV industry and its members by:
    • Growing the RV Market at twice the rate of the overall economy.
    • Ensuring a favorable business environment.
    • Enhancing the RV experience for consumers.
    • Fostering continuous improvement of RV products.
    • Providing industry information and knowledge.
  • Tin Can Tourists.  "The Tin Can Tourists is an organization committed to the celebration of classic trailers and motor coaches through annual gatherings of owners and friends."
